Junior Post Fixture Operator & Post Fixture Operator (2 Roles) - Athens Based
NOTE: Candidates must possess either a European passport or a valid residence and work permit for Greece.
Your Role
As a Junior Post Fixture Operator or Post Fixture Operator, your mission will be to:
- Facilitating communications between Shipowners/Charterers/Brokers
- The review of clean fixture recaps produced by brokers
- Monitoring Vessel schedules and circulating updates to clients whilst also ensuring the same is incorporated into our internal records
- Ensuring the delivery of freight, and time charter hire is paid to terms
- Updating Vessel nominations against Contracts of Affreightment (COA)
- Invoicing of commissions
- Co-ordinating the timely issuance / re-issuance of Bill(s) of Lading and ensuring the prompt execution of Letters of Indemnity to facilitate Charterers needs
- Liaising with operations, commercial and legal departments to ensure claims and disputes are negotiated and settled within specified time bars
- Ensuring all business commitments are adhered to in full compliance with charter party agreements and maintaining confidentiality
- Flexible with willingness to work outside of normal office hours and weekends as and when required
What we seek - We are looking for someone with:
- Degree in Business / Maritime Studies with 1 (Junior Role Requirement)/2+ (Post Fixture Operator Role Requirement) years relevant work experience ideally.
- Strong organisation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
- A high level of understanding of Microsoft Office and any other computer software associated with the shipping industry
Junior Shipbroker & Senior Shipbroker (2 Roles) - Athens Based

Your Role
We are seeking a junior shipbroker and a senior shipbroker to join our Dry Cargo team in Athens. The role focuses on negotiating and fixing cargoes/vessels across the Atlantic markets.
As a Junior Shipbroker or Senior Shipbroker, your mission will be to:
- Develop client base.
- Market, negotiate and fix tonnage and cargoes to clients.
- Understand the business strategy for the division and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.
- Identify and introduce new clients to the market and maintain professional relationships.
- Perform market analysis and provide market insight and trade ideas to clients.
- Assist Senior Brokers on the desk with ad hoc duties to meet the needs of the business and the team.
What we seek - we are looking for someone with:
- Degree in Business / Maritime Studies with 1-2 (Junior Role Requirement)/3+ (Senior Shipbroker Role Requirement) years relevant work experience ideally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Fluent in English.
- Personable and engaging, able to build strong relationships.
- Confident and able to work well under pressure.
